I’m the owner and stylist behind Salon Opal, with six years of experience in the beauty industry and a passion for creating beautiful, healthy hair that feels uniquely you. I began my journey at Aveda Institute in Madison, where I built the foundation for a career centered around artistry, connection, and making people feel their absolute best.
I specialize in blonding, lived-in color, extensions, and bridal hair, with a focus on creating effortless, dimensional looks that grow beautifully and complement each client’s individual style. My goal is for every appointment to feel just as good as the result—relaxed, personalized, and truly your own.
Bridal hair has also become a special part of my work. From spring through fall, I’m often booked nearly every Friday and Saturday creating beautiful, lasting styles for brides and their bridal parties on some of their most memorable days.

Hello, and welcome!
My name is Kimmy, I began my cosmetology journey in October 2021 at the Academy of Beauty Professionals in Madison, Wisconsin.
Some of my favorite services include hair color, haircuts, highlights, eyebrow tinting and waxing. I truly love helping my clients feel beautiful, confident, and cared for while creating a relaxing and elevated experience for everyone who sits in my chair.
A few fun facts about me: I’m completely addicted to Qdoba and coffee, peonies are my favorite flower, and I recently married the love of my life. I am also bilingual; fluent in Spanish.
As I begin this exciting new chapter of becoming an independent stylist in this wonderful community, I am incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received along the way. I can’t wait to meet you, welcome you into my chair, and help bring your vision to life.
